My Origin Story & Summary
During secondary and sixth form, I was headed to medicine to become a brain surgeon. While I eventually decided not to go down that path, I did still want to use my analytical and problem – solving nature.
Within a month of leaving my previous sales role, I began learning Python and SQL. Ever since, I’ve been obsessed with data science and analytics. It’s become my passion, as well as my primary goal as a career…
Self taught
While I have done an apprenticeship, most of my technical development has come from online resources, such as Youtube, Coursera and DataCamp, I've taught myself almost everything from simple select queries with SQL, to advanced data transformation with Python.
Practical Experience
On top of my technical development, I've also implemented them into projects. From coding a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to dashboard to enterprise data integration projects with UK largest online grocery retailer.
Versatile and Flexible
Given my experience and technical development, I'm versatile and dynamic according to your dynamics. I've adopted the role of an engineer, as much as I have an analyst. While I may not be familiar with ALL tools, my firm understanding of the fundamentals mean that I have the basis for many other specifics.

Mini games
When I learn a new skill, in whatever context, I always aim to apply it in a practical sense. Typically using dummy data from online to apply, I have also, quite often, made games, particularly with Python.
Big Projects
Most of my projects have been in designing and developing dashboards. But my biggest yet has been 7 months on data pipeline for an data migration project as a GCP Developer using BigQuery.
